After a year-long hiatus, Born in Film is back to celebrate the essence of film photography and creative storytelling. The event, scheduled from 10 am to 5 pm, promises an immersive experience for attendees. Event highlights include the chance to delve into loot bags, enjoy various freebies, and engage in an exclusive photo contest, providing an opportunity for participants to showcase their creativity.
Born in Film, known for its dedication to reviving traditional film photography, operates under the leadership of Franz Lopez and a team of talented visual artists. Their expertise spans events, live streams, workshops, podcasts, exhibits, fundraising events, and conventions.
A key accomplishment of Born In Film is the establishment of PhotoNation International, a vibrant community that unites diverse photography mediums. Noteworthy achievements include hosting Worldwide PhotoWalk 2019 in Intramuros Manila and successfully transitioning to virtual events during the pandemic, such as PhotoCon and the creation of PhotoNation Academy.
The collaborative efforts of PhotoNation International with Ortigas Malls from 2021 to 2022 resulted in one of the largest exhibits in the Philippines, showcasing over 3,000 entries from a global community of more than 20,000 members.
